Princess came home yesterday and immediately started begging for hot chocolate. She said she was freezing. I gave her a kiss home in welcome and noticed it--she was burning up. Thermometer check confirmed it: 102.7. Yikes! (and a big NO to the hot chocolate) She spent the rest of the day curled up on the couch, sipping water and hugging her bowl, before heading to bed, still hugging her bowl. This morning she's back on the couch--you guessed it--hugging her bowl. The fever seems to have broken in the night though.
Just in case that wasn't enough fun and excitement, the Boy woke us around 2 AM with cries of "Help! Help! I threw up!". And he did. He didn't have a bowl, so we got the fun of cleaning up him, his pj's, bed, stuffies, and floor. I guess I'm thankful he didn't get the wall too. The designated bowl is being used by his sister, so he gets the fancy "old margarine container".
And to think I was going to complain about how we've been having water problems for the past month. I guess I can bore you with that another time.
I need to go pat heads and dispense water.
(P.S. Carter was back on ER! Just so you don't think my day was completely depressing! Yay Noah Wylie!)
(PPS Someone is very resistant to the idea of a camera being so much as touched in the same room as he is. I'll work on it.)
