The manual I love is called "The Missing Manual - Photoshop Elements 6" It's great! Step-by-step instructions with illustrations, etc. Good luck!

Scott Kelby is the PS guru - check your library for his (or other) PSE books. Also there are tons of tutorials on-line.

I just got PSE6 this summer and I can do quite a bit with both RAW and JPEG images and if I can do it, you can too!

Good luck and have fun...and always work on duplicates!

Check out Jessica Sprague's blog and website. She offers a Photoshop Friday newsletter on her blog and some super classes on PS on her website.

BTW, are you starting to do digi scrapbooking or are you using it to tweak your photos?

I'll second the vote for JessicaSprague.com. GENIUS! I've taken a bunch of her classes, and they are so, so worth it!

Her beginner class is very, very user friendly AND it's self paced. Which means you could start the class whenever you'd like. I'm a big fan, can you tell?

If you have any basic questions, though, shoot me an email. Be happy to help you out. :)

The Story

  • The title of this blog comes from my best friend's mom; who critiqued my high school English journal as "full of superfluous fluff". This is where I embrace all that fluff and share it with you in its pure, unedited, rambling glory.
