Shannon at Rocks in My Dryer asked her readers for their best websites for kids and BOY did they ever respond. She's been busy sorting them all and has made a master list and kindly provided a button for quick reference.
We discovered the thread yesterday and spent most of the morning checking them out. So far the girls have had fun learning to type at Dance Mat Typing, everyone has had a blast at Starfall doing reading activities, and the Princess has had fun playing Dutch Dollhouse at NGA Kids. They weren't as excited about the San Francisco Symphony Kids website (but I loved it). I think they're just a little young for it.
Anyway, there is a very long and exciting list that I think may be especially exciting to those of you with homeschooling hearts. Also very exciting for those rainy or long winter days. Nothing like exploring the solar system or getting a word search made of YOUR child's spelling words to chase the blahs away. Just click on the pretty new button (under "Good Stuff" in the sidebar).
