Yes, I know not all of you who read this care one whit about scrapbooking. Our family drops by to see cute pictures of the kids and find out what they're up to, and here's my answer:
"If you can't say somethin' nice, don't say nuthin' at all."
Oh, I kid.
The truth is, we had 4 big snow storms in less than a week. Before, during and after those storms were Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. I've had both kids and dh home much, much more than usual lately. While this is
good super fantastic, it also means that I've had to fight for computer time and haven't yet resized any of the Christmas photos.
Because not only does the dh need the computer for work, but he has his own MB's and email to deal with. Plus he likes to game.
And silly us, we heard about WebKinz this summer and thought they sounded like a great idea.
The kids love them. And need to feed them, play with them, get them a job, and decorate their rooms. Daily.
Today I went shopping. When I got home all I heard about was how Daddy had been on the computer ALL DAY and no one had had a turn yet. What about our pets!?
Crazy. To add just that bit more to the madness, we like to pick up educational software, because the kids love it and we like knowing they're learning something. So everyone wants turns playing their "games".
And then Mom comes along and hogs the computer for her scrapbooking. The kids see me looking through the gallery and keep asking "who's that?". They think I'm truely bizarre, looking at pictures of people I don't even know!
Anyway, here's SweetPea getting set up in Webkinz land (she named her Alley Cat "Alley". huh.)
Still waiting for your funny?
The Princess always, always calls them "Wal-marts".
"Can we play with our Wal-marts now?"
It doesn't matter how many times I correct her.
Oh well, starts with a W.
