Yesterday it rained. It rained and it rained and it rained. See that snow? All gone!
What else can you see? Oh yeah, the driveway. I guess we won't be parking in front of the shed (we have a long driveway and usually use this area to turn around in).
So I'm snapping photos, and Hubby looks out the window. The Boy, always happy to mimic Daddy, looks too.
Boy: Wow Daddy! It's a pond!
Hubby: Yeah, want to go swimming?!
Boy (eyes lighting up with glee): SWIMMING! YES! LET'S GO!
Mama: NO! See that ice? No swimming! It's too cold!
At first, both the Boy and Sweetpea wanted to go swim in our new pond. I had my work cut out for me convincing them that this was a VERY BAD IDEA. Thanks Hubby! Sheesh.
Next thing I know, the Boy is at the door. At least he bundled up.
And where did he head to immediately?
Boys and water. What are you going to do?
He stayed out for about 45 minutes. Oh, the pond has a powerful lure.
Come on in buddy!
Oh dear! Are you frozen? Are you soaked? Are you miserable?
(and he went back to play in the pond some more)
The girls, btw, stayed in the house and drew beautiful pictures.
Boys are different creatures altogether, aren't they?
